Fire Everyone! Except Nancy

I’m done listening to the staff and political leadership of the Democratic party, except for Speaker Emeritus Nancy Pelosi.

Nancy Pelosi is the only person telling the truth, and it is frankly hilarious to see pundits and former White House staff on MSNBC saying the first female Speaker of the House of Representatives is wrong and should be quiet. Shame ontop of shame.

The same people who said the House of Representatives was unlosable are now arguing that Trump was unbeatable. Everyone in America who voted for Trump is a racist and sexist — including Vermont, San Francisco, and New Jersey, where Republicans triumphed. Yes, the racist voters waited 20 years to be racist again and win both the electoral college and popular vote — which just happens to occur when Democrats fail to make a case for themselves.

The reality is that President Biden disqualified himself from the Office in a presidential debate that he requested after spending a week at Camp David preparing for it. He is lucky to still be in office after that debacle, which was shocking and never quite explained.

Now, the people who sawed the tree branch from the tree while the nation was sitting on it claim to be the only ones who know the way to shore from the river we just fell in. They supported Biden’s re-election, defended his catastrophic performance, called any concerned Democrats traitorous, and delayed for THREE WEEKS the end of the Biden campaign. The Democratic leadership (and I’m really singling out some awful staffers here) are a disgrace and should hang their heads for the disaster they have caused.

It was Nancy Pelosi who imposed order on the Biden campaign and brought the initial calamity to an end.

And how did President Biden react to his own failures? By betraying Pelosi and the Democratic party and anointing Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee without an open process. In Biden’s last act as leader of the party, he punished Pelosi, rewarded Trump, and sank Harris.

But the answer we are told is not to blame the people who did this and lost the trust of the American public. No, instead, these operatives are choosing the cheap and easy route of saying 70 million people were hoodwinked by racists and Joe Rogan. Now, these same elite Democrats are trying to convince us that we need to change our policies and message in order to listen to the “working class.”

This may well be true, but it’s not the reason that Democrats lost 7 swing states, the House, the Senate, and the White House. It is because they are so unpopular and untrustworthly that when given the choice between more of the same miserable politics of the Democratic party or literally anything else — people everywhere chose the only other option — Trump. This was not a pro-racism, pro-Trump election; it was a pro-change and anti-Biden election. And let’s remember that “working class” discourse is also code to the left that the Democratic party should lurch to the moderate-right.

I am a proud Democrat, and my family of Trump supporters may be tacky, but they are not racist. They are actually the most pro-gay and pro-trans people I know.

It is time to win — it is time for the Democratic Party to “turn the page” on the old leadership of the party and give its many stars a chance. And yes, my favorite star is Mayor Pete — who has been the best/only communicator the Democrats have had for 6 consecutive years, and it is about time we let him run the DNC.

Important note: This is entirely my opinion in my personal capacity and does not represent the opinions of my employers or anyone I am affiliated with.
