Today, a new podcast, “Shark bites and Gay rights”, was launched in Sydney, Australia, by host Dr. Chris Pepin-Neff with the inaugural episode: “5 Ways to Avoid a Shark Bite”, which was taped in late January 2023 and is meant to provide educational information regarding how we consider the ocean as the wild, pay attention to water temperature, and note any changes in beach conditions.

In a statement by Dr. Chris Pepin-Neff, they stated:

“The first thing I want to do is note the tragic loss of life on the Swan River in the Freemantle, Western Australia area, because of a fatal shark bite last weekend. 16 is meant to be an age of innocence, and this is just absolutely terrible. This is a horrible and serious reminder of how dangerous sharks can be. My condolences go to her family and friends.”

Podcast episodes will come out every two weeks during WorldPride and then settle into a monthly schedule from there.
